OUR STORY
Founded by Mark van Leeuwen and Philip Schreven in The Netherlands, Pan Ocean Aquaculture B.V., strives to fundamentally change the aquaculture industry providing solutions to farm the healthiest most nourishing fish to feed this planet’s growing population.
With deep respect for the planet and its oceans, POA is committed to taking care of the ecosystem of fish, oceans and people by implementing innovations that result in a step change in sustainability for all stakeholders.

POA consists of a multi-disciplined, multi-national group of people.
ABS CERTIFICATION
All of POA’s offshore technology deliverables are fully certified by the American Bureau of Shipping. Since 1862, ABS has been setting safety standards for the marine and offshore industry worldwide (ww2.eagle.org).
Together with ABS, POA develops international offshore standards tailored to the aquaculture industry allowing offshore aquaculture worldwide to benefit from valuable lessons learned. Through this groundbreaking work a contribution is delivered to the safety, health and security of people in the aquaculture industry and the marine environment.
